What we’re playing

Paul is our owner.  He’s the one who had the dream and who set up ZGame after the chat with our son, Zac.

Paul loves a good shooter!  Everything from Duck Hunt to Metal Gear Solid, to Gears of War, various COD(s) and now Fortnite – his current Battle Royale of choice.

Being a bit more ‘mature’ (aka old fart) he started playing Chuckie Egg and Manic Minor on the Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48k, back in 1982, whilst also enjoying some OG arcade classics; like Pacman and Space Invaders, ahead of moving onto Golden Axe, After Burner, Star Wars, and many others.

At home, Paul also enjoyed Astro Wars, alongside his Spectrum, and still has an OG handheld Donkey Kong, with a few plug & play machines scattered around for those truly old skool, retro nights.

Some of today's sports games make the list too, such as FIFA and NBA, with very close battles often running with Zac.

When not playing with the family Paul can often be found online playing with friends from around the world, random duos or squads and solo matches, when there’s a little less time.

Paul is the family’s Mario Kart champion!  (He dares you to try and beat him! lol)

After moving on from the ZX Spectrum and working his way through Nintendo and Sega consoles, Paul now plays on PS4 but is making the move to PC, so he can play, interact, and stream with our community.

It’s fair to say that Tracy, our MD and co-owner, as well as being ‘Mrs Paul’ and Zac & Zoe’s Mum, is not the biggest gamer in the world.

Probably as she gets super competitive and does not like losing…something which rarely happens, thankfully.

Unfortunately, this means no going easy on the kids – although this is something which has definitely helped them improve their gaming skills…which they’ve very quickly used to eclipse Mum.

When not running Z Game and generally doing good & helping others, Tracy can be found in Roblox with our youngest or hurtling down the track on Mario Kart…coming a close second to Paul, of course. 😉

Tracy enjoys arcade gaming and at home plays on both Switch and mobile.

Zac, also known as Vilzity in the gaming world where he has developed a strong following, is the crown jewel in our gaming family.

He has played everything from Gears of War, when he started in 2012, before working his way through various COD’s – famously completing Ghosts in just 2 days at the age of 8.

He has often been called ‘the best player I’ve ever seen’ and ‘the best player I’ve played with’ at Fortnite, where he boxes everyone like fishes…for fun. Unfortunately for Paul, that often includes him too.

Zac loves to enjoy his gaming and often switches between GTA, Apex Legends, FIFA, NBA, and various others, depending on what he feels in the moment.

He often plays online with friends and with random duos / squads he’s found in game, or on Discord.

As well as being the family’s best gamer, he’s also the family fashion expert and resident hype beast, which is why he also carries the role of Head of Clothing Design at Z Game.

Zac started on the X Box 360 in 2012, before moving onto the X Box One, then PS4, ahead of making the jump to PC, which he currently rocks on, alongside his PS5.

Zoe is the youngest member of our gaming family.

Despite her young years she does a fantastic job in Roblox, where she has become quite accomplished in Fashion Famous, Brookhaven, and Adopt Me as well as smashing out wins on Fortnite, where she often plays Battle Royale duos with Daddy, Paul.

She also loves playing Team Rumble and has also bagged quite a few solo Victory Royales along the way, making us all very proud.  As well as playing with Mum, Dad and Zac locally, Zoe has also made some gaming friends around the world, thanks to Paul’s interactions with fellow Dads in various ‘dad gaming groups.’

Thankfully Zoe has taken her good looks from Mum Tracy, which means she’s the perfect fit to be the resident clothing model at Z Game – look forward to her making an appearance very soon.

Zoe currently plays on Nintendo Switch, as well as mobile / iPad, and is looking forward to making the move to PlayStation soon.
